NO on Prop 131

STOP BILLIONAIRES FROM BUYING INFLUENCE OVER OUR DEMOCRACY

  • Pushed by billionaires with a history of trying to buy elections in Colorado

  • Money and special interest influence in elections is the problem to begin with; 131 would make it even easier for them to tilt the system in their own favor

  • County Clerks warn it makes drastic changes, rushes implementation, and could be a disaster

  • Nonpartisan analysis shows it will cost taxpayers $21 million more to run elections

NO on Amendment 80

STOP PRIVATE SCHOOLS FROM TAKING PUBLIC SCHOOL FUNDING

  • It would open the door to taking money from public schoolsto fund private schools

  • It is unnecessary. School choice is already protected in Colorado law and has been for 30 years

  • Private schools don’t belong in our constitution because they are allowed to pick and choose who can attend.

  • Some won’t accept LGBTQ children, same-sex families, or children with special needs. Keep funding in public schools, which are open to all
